Our approach

Sanofi-aventis is committed to integrating sustainability into its business operations. This commitment is illustrated by the day-to-day involvement of employees throughout the Group, from the Board of Directors down throughout the businesses. Following the creation of the Sustainability Department specifically devoted to this topic in 2006, the Group’s proactive approach was strengthened in 2007 by establishing a sustainability delegate network within functions and in specific countries, and through Group personnel training about sustainability issues.
