Health in the workplace – Indicators

Occupational illnesses and their causes have been divided into categories according to the CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council) classification system. 
More than one occupational illness may be reported for a single individual.

The occupational illness data concern diseases declared during the year 2007 to national health authorities, according to local regulations, including illnesses that are pending review by the health authorities. In addition, illnesses reported by retired employees in connection with occupational exposure at a Group site, and of which we are aware, appear in the diagram.
