Sanofi-aventis adopts a constructive attitude of transparency and dialogue toward external partners with respect to its safety, health and environmental protection policy, in compliance with the Group’s policy.

During operations involving purchasing and outsourcing, each entity takes into account issues relating to health, safety and environmental protection. The selection of a subcontractor or supplier includes criteria relating to health, safety and the environment, measured in proportion to the risk incurred. Both parties exchange adequate information about products and processes.

This commitment, which ensures compliance of the operations performed by our partners, is one of the eight principles of the Group’s H.S.E policy and is re-iterated in the Code of Conduct.
