Limiting local environmental impacts - Policy

Protecting the environment is a long-standing commitment at sanofi-aventis. With numerous sites operating throughout the world, the Group pays particular attention to reducing local emissions.

The Group's actions concern the following areas:

water waste discharge;
protection of the atmosphere;
solvent consumption;
waste management;
biodiversity surrounding Group sites;
packaging.
