Water Consumption
ResultsWater utilized during manufacturing (especially fermentation) and for cooling purposes (cooling without product contact) is obtained primarily from available rivers and aquifers. In keeping with previous years, new closed-loop cooling facilities as well as specific operational activities carried out in 2007 led to an additional 5% reduction in water consumption. Other projects are currently being studied.
