Results

Water utilized during manufacturing (especially fermentation) and for cooling purposes (cooling without product contact) is obtained primarily from available rivers and aquifers.

In keeping with previous years, new closed-loop cooling facilities as well as specific operational activities carried out in 2007 led to an additional 5% reduction in water consumption. Other projects are currently being studied.
